Jonathan studied music at the University of London and specialised in jazz piano performance, graduating with a BMus (Hons) in music.

Since then he has entertained audiences as a solo pianist, or with singers, saxophonists, bass players, guitarists, and in various groups and duos.

With a wide experience of work in prestigious hotels and venues in London, Sussex, Surrey and the South East, engagements have included :-

• A duo residency with flautists at the Landmark Hotel, London.
• Royal Household staff parties at Buckingham Palace with jazz singers, Liz Fletcher and Clare Foster.
• Trio and solo engagements at Raymond Blanc’s elegant Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
• A duo residency with top bass players at The Britannia International Hotel.
• 2016 weddings in historic Battle Abbey, East Sussex & Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire.
• 2017 weddings in elegant Horsted Place, the Waldorf Hilton & luxurious Plaisterers’ Hall.
• Playing for a Gatsby Theme wedding in 2018 at The Burlington Hotel, Folkestone.
• Accompanying a vocalist during Signing the Register at the historic Archbishop’s Palace, Maidstone in October 2018.
• 2018 weddings at Pembroke Lodge, Botley’s Mansion, Hall Place, Nymans Gardens, Hampton Court House & The Windsor Guildhall.
• Weddings since 2019 at historic Nettlestead Place in Kent. A 2020 Birthday party at Winchester Cathedral Undercroft.
• 2022 Weddings at Leeds Castle, Kent and Denbies, Surrey as well as many private parties & events.

Jonathan has also composed for fringe theatre, and is a visiting piano teacher in Dulwich and Surrey schools.
