Champagne Reception – A selection from cool jazz, upbeat show tunes, and classic pop or film songs creates musical variety for your guests. Keeping the music celebratory and uptempo to match the occasion.
Wedding Breakfast – Sparkling piano adds to the atmosphere throughout the meal until
the speeches. From mellow ballads to lively numbers played sensitively and adapting to the mood. Jonathan is happy to take requests and include your choice of music into the repertoire.
Before the Ceremony – Welcoming music to relax and entertain guests as they arrive and are waiting before the ceremony. This can be chosen from soft romantic jazz to classical, to light pop classics, or traditional music at your preference.
During the Ceremony – Processional music : traditional popular choices include Purcell’s Trumpet Tune, Handel’s Air from Water Music, Wagner’s Bridal Chorus, and Clarke’s Trumpet Voluntary. Recessional Music : popular choices include Handel’s Alla Hornpipe from Water Music, Mendelssohn’s Wedding March, and Ode to Joy.
For a Civil Ceremony there is a very wide choice of music with no religious association. Recent selections have been the pop songs: All You Need is Love, A Thousand Years, Endless Love, At Last, Romeo & Juliet, Signed Sealed Delivered, Just The Way You Are, Songbird, and Thinking Out Loud. Classical pieces: Canon in D, Salut d’Amour, Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, River Flows in You, and the film theme, The Princess Bride.
For a Church Ceremony – any hymns required for the service will be prepared.
